    Garcia remains on track

Nicole Garcia kept herself in line for a solid placing at the Lalla Meryem Cup at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam (Blue Course) with a 73 on Saturday.

The first-round leader, who was battling flu, opened her round with a bogey before turning in +1 after eight straight pars.

She made another slow start to the back nine with a bogey at the 10th before a two at the 12th for the second time in three days. That birdie was backed up with another at the 17th, also her second there this week, as the gains made up for six at the par-five 14th.

The moving day 73 sees Garcia make up a trio of players at +1 with only eight at par or better.

Sweden’s Lynn Carlsson and Australia’s Sarah Kemp hold a two-shot lead over defending champion Klara Spilkova after moving to -5 through three rounds.

This is Carlsson’s second start of the season on the LET after she missed the cut at the Investec South African Women’s Open.

Stacy Bregman matched Garcia’s 73 and is +5 for the week.
