George Golf Club was not spared by the recent Cape storms with 263 trees uprooted and several greens damaged.
The historic and beloved course will be looking decidedly different going forward with staggering losses to his tree-lined fairways.
Added to the pain was that greens on 1, 4 and 16 were damaged in the storms.
The course is closed for play but open for members and visitors to visit the clubhouse for meals.
