    Harding is chasing the dream

Justin Harding narrowly failed to get the required result at the Boise Open but still heads to the Korn Ferry Finals with one hand on a PGA TOUR card.

The World No 52 starts this week’s finale at Victoria National GC well ahead in the race to nab one of 13 cards up for grabs.

25 TOUR cards have already been awarded via the Regular Season Points List, and another 12 were allotted to players to have surpassed 200 Korn Ferry Tour Points after last week’s event.

Harding starts this week in 13th place after finishing T43. The result left him 15 points off earning his TOUR card without having to sweat this week; the final round concludes on Labour Day Monday.

The Qatar Masters champion started the series well with a T7 and looked to contend before his bid meandered away over the weekend. One more solid week is all that is required although he is being tipped as one of the favourites to win the championship such has been his meteoric rise in the game.

Interestingly, Dawie van der Walt sits in 25th place with one event to play.
