A player group of LIV Golfers, led by two-time major champion Dustin Johnson have joined forces in a last ditch effort to negotiate with the PlF to obtain “severance packages” for claims that exceed $100 million.
The group is roughly 10 players.
According to the report, the PlF “initially offered 2 cents on the dollar for unpaid contracts”.
@GabbyHerzig reports that “none of the players in Johnson’s cohort are expected to sign the restructuring agreement between LIV and BC Partners in its current form.”
Today is the player commitment deadline to join LIV 2.0, however BC partners can push it back or waive the requirement altogether.
