    Dustin Johnson
    Chasing Major No 2

Dethroned by Justin Rose at the start of the week, world No 2 Dustin Johnson is aware of the lack of Major silverware in his cabinet as he bids for a first Green Jacket.

    ROUND ONE TEE TIMES

The 2016 US Open remains the American’s lone Major title in a career that has seen him accumulate good performances, like his runner-up at The Open in 2011 and the US Open in 2015.

Johnson was famously at the centre of a rules fiasco at the 2010 PGA Championship when he was penalised a shot for grounding his club in a bunker on the 72nd hole.

A player that has 21 regular tour titles including 6 WGC triumphs, he knows he is a little short when it comes to golf’s biggest four championships.

‘I would have definitely liked to have won a couple more. I’ve had some very good opportunities that I didn’t capitalise on,’ said Johnson.

‘Disappointed or frustrated, one of those would be OK to describe that. But I mean, it’s golf. This game’s very frustrating and disappointing at times. But I think I’m happy with my career so far. I definitely think it could have been better. But I’ve hopefully still got a lot of time left in my career.’

DJ is joined on the first tee by Bryson DeChambeau and Jason Day at 7:38pm on Thursday.
