Big Easy Tour confirms 2025-26 schedule

The Betway Big Easy Tour, the Sunshine Tour’s official development circuit, has unveiled an expanded schedule for its 2025-26 season, featuring 10 regular events, two season-ending tournaments and five new special events in partnership with the Bushveld Tour.

The season tees off at Dainfern Golf Estate from 6-8 May, setting the tone for a busy and competitive campaign.

In addition to the traditional tournaments, the schedule introduces the Betway Big Easy Tour Blue Label Invitationals – a five-event series co-sanctioned with the Bushveld Tour, aimed at offering more playing opportunities and improving the competitive depth of the circuit.

“The Betway Big Easy Tour has grown so much over the past three seasons, and we are very excited to get the new season going,” said general manager Ludwick Manyama. “Our relationship with the Bushveld Tour has led to these additional events, which will benefit our members greatly.”

Following the Dainfern opener, the first Blue Label Invitational will take place at Ruimsig Country Club from 12-14 May, followed by the second Big Easy Tour event at Glenvista Country Club from 20-22 May.

June will be a packed month, starting with the second Blue Label Invitational at Killarney Country Club from 2-4 June. The Wanderers Golf Club then hosts the third regular event from 10-12 June, with Benoni Country Club hosting the fifth event from 17-19 June.

The Blue Label series continues at Waterkloof Golf Club from 28-30 July, and the fifth regular event follows at CMR Golf Club from 5-7 August. Just days later, Reading Country Club stages the sixth event, before Soweto Country Club hosts the seventh from 16-18 September. Reading will also host the fourth Blue Label Invitational from 29 September to 1 October.

The host venue for the eighth Big Easy event remains unconfirmed, while the final Blue Label Invitational is set for Silver Lakes Golf Club. The ninth event will be held at Krugersdorp Golf Club from 11-13 November.

Details for the Play-Off and The Final – the season-ending tournaments – will be released later. The Tour continues to enjoy support from Ernie Els and counts international star Christiaan Bezuidenhout among its past Order of Merit winners.

With more events and increased collaboration, the 2025-26 season looks set to offer emerging talent a greater platform to progress toward the elite level of South African and global golf.
