Harold Varner III will join Brooks Koepka in the final pairing at the 101st PGA Championship at Bethpage Black.
HVIII was one of the few to advance his cause on Saturday and has now earned the honour of playing with the defending champion and seven stroke leader.
The penultimate pairing features Thai surprise package Jazz Janewattananond and USA’s Luke List with a far more dynamic pairs in Matt Wallace/Xander Schauffele and Dustin Johnson/Hideki Matsuyama preceding that.
Erik van Rooyen will have a large following as he plays alongside Jordan Spieth with Louis Oosthuizen joining Shane Lowry for his final loop in New York.
