Ian Poulter not only started the party with covering the drinks tab, but he also turned chief cheerleader at the Walker Cup after party.
Following the Great Britain & Ireland winning an unlikely Walker Cup from the jaws of defeat, it was never in doubt a party would follow.
Poulter’s son, Luke, won his Sunday Singles match and this obviously got dad fired up.
“Absolutely thrilling,” he told Golf Channel’s Steve Burkowski on Sunday night. “As a dad, as a fan, as someone who loves golf and has been part of golf, that was truly special.”
