It is all to play for heading into the final round of the African Bank Sunshine Tour Championship with Jayden Schaper, Daniel van Tonder and Martin Rohwer occupying a share of top spot after Thursday’s action.

The trio will start the deciding round at Glendower Country Club all on 7 under par after another testing, yet exciting day’s play in Johannesburg.

Overnight leader Rohwer made a quick start with a birdie on the 2nd hole but dropped one a few holes later as he stayed even after the opening nine.

The Kwa-Zulu Natal golfer was struggling to find the same mojo from his opening round and went on to drop two more shots as he came home, while a good eagle on the 15th allowed him to finish with a 72.

Both Schaper and Van Tonder gained two strokes in their second round with respective rounds of two-under-par 70.

Van Tonder, though, had the lead on 9 under at a stage but consecutive bogeys on the 16th and 17th unfortunately meant he lost ground on the earlier effort he put in.

Young Schaper, on the other hand, could be a dark horse when it goes down to the wire on Friday and will be hoping to kick on with the way he finished on Thursday.
