Andy Sullivan will take a five-shot lead into the final round of the English Championship after a superb 63 on Saturday.

The overnight leader made two eagles on the front nine before adding four more birdies as he came home, despite dropping a shot on the 13th hole.

Sullivan will start Sunday on 21 under par with countryman Steven Brown in T2 on 16 under.

Compleat Golfer‘s playing editor, Brandon Stone, made a remarkable start to his third round by rolling in a staggering six birdies on his front nine, which handed him the lead for a brief moment.

But, unfortunately, two bogeys on his back nine halted what could have been an even better round as he finished with 67.

Stone will head into Sunday on 15 under par and in T3, alongside fellow South African Dean Burmester, who managed a two-under-par 69 for his third round.

Young Wilco Nienaber continued to fire with another decent performance on Saturday when he carded a four-under-par 67 for his third round.

It means he will start the final day in T10 and on 13 under for the event.

Louis de Jager is a further two strokes behind on 11 under par, while Justin Harding and Bryce Easton sit on respective scores of seven and six under.
