Seven South Africans will be in the field for this week’s Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio.
Louis Oosthuizen will be the first of the local contingent to tee off at 1pm on Thursday afternoon with the hope of gaining a bit more consistency than in his recent finishes, when he also bombed out during last week’s Workday Charity Open’s third round.

This year’s South African Open winner Branden Grace will also be in the star-studded field to get his first round under way at 1:22pm SA time.
After a few weeks off, Erik van Rooyen will be hoping to get some sort of form and momentum going with a decent performance at the Memorial. He will tee off at 6:11pm on Thursday night.
Ernie Els is also back for the much-anticipated PGA Tour event and will hit his first tee shot at 6:33pm, while Charl Schwartzel and Christiaan Bezuidenhout will both tee off at 7:39pm.
Lastly, Dylan Frittelli will be part of the final group to tee off on Thursday and will hit the ground running at 8:01pm.
