South African-born PGA TOUR player Rory Sabbatini has named his hole-in-one at the Masters Par 3 contest as his best-ever shot.
The ace, his first, trumps all others in a career that has earned the six-time PGA TOUR winner over $34 million in earnings.
Now playing under the Slovakian flag, the 44-year-old has enjoyed somewhat of a career resurgence moving back near the world’s top 100 following a T3 finish at 2019’s Rocket Mortgage Classic. That performance has him sitting 84th in the Official World Golf Ranking, a far cry from the position 13 weeks prior to that when Sabbatini was placed outside the world’s top 200.
Since the RMC, he finished T6 at the Wyndham Championship, a top 20 at the BMW Championship, and a T10 at the Italian Open.
