The South African charge at the Bank BRI Indonesia Open finished on Sunday with JC Ritchie and Daniel Van Tonder both sharing 10th.

The pair were unable to make a real charge at Argentina’s Miguel Carballo, who was -5 for the day to win the title by three shots in Jakarta.

Ritchie’s bid was undone on Saturday as he limped to a 74. He responded with a 70 on Sunday with just 26 putts required; his best of the championship.

His countryman Van Tonder joined him at -9 after a matching 70 but he needed four more putts to work his way around Pondok Indah Golf Course.

Rounds of 72 and 73 on the weekend left Keith Horne down in 41st place.
