The trio shared 22nd place on +3 after final rounds of 72, 76 and 73, respectively.

Out early, Bezuidenhout was on track for a rare under-par round but bogeyed the last after missing the right fairway. In total, only five players finished under par with tough pin positions, firm conditions and heavy wind all in play.

Bezuidenhout – he rose 23 places on Sunday’s leaderboard – was able to see his world ranking improve by a single place to 47th. Like his two countrymen, he banked R1,306,853 ($78,120) for his week’s work.

Van Rooyen, who started the day in 37th place, is four places ahead in the latest world rankings despite dropping a spot to 43rd. He hit 14 of 18 greens in regulation during his final round but lost a full shot on the field on the greens.

Showing a rare green arrow in the world rankings was Frittelli, who climbed six places to 104th. His 76 came despite hitting 12 greens in regulation with his -1.7 strokes gained with the putter part of the Sunday woes.

Louis Oosthuizen’s world ranking dropped another place to 25th after he closed with a 79; a triple at the 16th after finding water off the tee did not help matters. He was able to bank R364,052 ($21,762) after sharing 54th place.

Branden Grace missed the cut and dropped four places to 79th in the world with Charl Schwartzel, likewise missing the halfway mark, down five places to 224.
