Christiaan Bezuidenhout, currently 12th in the Race To Dubai rankings after claiming his maiden European Tour title at the Andalucía Masters, joins Thomas Pieters and Eddie Pepperell for the opening two rounds at the Turkish Airlines Open.

The South African starts at 11:10am in a threeball with 2016 Ryder Cup player Pieters and Englishman Pepperell.

Padraig Harrington, the 2020 European Ryder Cup captain, tees off at 11:30am with Alfred Dunhill Links Championship winner Victor Perez and Austria’s Matthias Schwab while Lee Westwood, Swede Alex Noren and South African Erik van Rooyen start ten minutes earlier.

Justin Rose will begin his pursuit of a third Turkish Airlines Open victory in a row when he tees off in a star-studded threeball alongside Race to Dubai leader Bernd Wiesberger and Open champion Shane Lowry in Antalya.

The 39-year-old Englishman has won the last two editions of the Turkish Airlines Open and is in contention to become the first player to win the same European Tour even in three consecutive years since Colin Montgomerie in 2000.

The tournament returns to the Montgomerie Maxx Royal, which hosted the first three editions and is the first of three season-ending Rolex Series Events in the 2019 Race To Dubai Rankings.

Wiesberger leads the Race To Dubai Rankings ahead of Spaniard Jon Rahm, with Lowry currently third in the standings.

The Austrian tees off alongside Rose and Lowry at 12pm and the group will be the main focus of attention in Antalya, but there are plenty of other big names to watch out for.

Justin Walters, George Coetzee, Zander Lombard, Richard Sterne and Justin Harding complete the South African lineup.
