The good news for Koepka was bad for challenger Tony Finau, who’s last hole hiccup cost him a whopping $217 373 as he dropped to fifth.

While world number one Dustin Johnson didn’t get it done this week, a birdie on the last helped him add $120 190 more than had he settled for par.

Louis Oosthuizen finished as the top-performing South African and took home R2 166 744 after his final round 69 helped him into a share of 16th place. Branden Grace’s 75 saw him tumble to T25 but still took home R1 050 006.

Dean Burmester was the third and final South African to make the weekend and earned R337 076 for his efforts.
