    Patrick Reed’s par at the last hole earned him his first Major and almost $2-million in prize money after a thrilling Sunday at Augusta National.

    Reed earned a whopping $800 000 more than second-placed Rickie Fowler with The Masters being the second-highest prize purse in pro golf.

    Jordan Spieth’s incredible Sunday run, which saw him finish third, earned him $220 000 more than Jon Rahm in fourth. The Spaniard falling from contention with a number of mistakes, which proved to be financially costly in the process.

     

    Here’s what they earned:

    1st: Patrick Reed ($1 980 000)

    2nd: Rickie Fowler ($1 180 000)

    3rd: Jordan Spieth ($748 000)

    4th: Jon Rahm ($528 000)

    5th: Cameron Smith, Bubba Watson, Henrik Stenson and Rory McIlroy ($356 000)
