Ashleigh Simon’s last two starts at the ShopRite LPGA Classic led to a tie for 42nd last year and a tie for 38th place in 2014. This week she returns to New Jersey ready for another payday.

The two-time Ladies European Tour winner has enjoyed a decent run of form in the United States over the last two months, including a share of 23rd at the Texas Shootout.

Last week she tied for 27th place at the LPGA Volvik Championship after shooting 70 in the final round, which will have boosted her confidence.

This week she tees up at Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club, where she has played the weekend twice before.
She comes into the week with form on her side and has a decent history at the bayside track, which makes her a likely cut maker. She’ll certainly be aiming for a top-25 result this week.

Fellow South Africans Bertine Strauss and Paula Reto will also compete in New Jersey this week.
